Feature:

The feature was a special tribute to the poetry of the late Tawfiq Zayyad (1929-1994), who was also the mayor of Nazareth. We talked with Naila Zayyad, the widow of Tawfiq and herself a long-time activist in Nazareth. She read some of Tawfiq’s poems in Arabic which were then presented in English along with musical adaptations of the poetry.
